On October 12th, CEC ArtsLink Program Director Susan Katz, B’Art: Bishkek Art Center Director Shaarbek Amankul, and Gordon Knox of the Stanford Humanities Lab at Stanford University, embark on a road trip from Bishkek to Dushanbe. They have appointments with artists and crafts people along the route, but more, they will seek creative currents outside the familiar, as the project seeks to expand global cultural dialogue by engaging with more marginalized communities.
